2022 Day of Commitment

The YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism

Every spring the YWCA partners with diversity champions across Central New York to host the Stand Against Racism Walk and the Day of Commitment to Eliminate Racism and Promote Diversity. These events are an opportunity to advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. By dedicating ourselves to progress, we strengthen our community today and tomorrow.

This year’s Stand Against Racism Walk, Action is Key, was held on Tuesday, April 26. Our 24th Annual Day of Commitment, presented by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, took place on Thursday, April 28. This year’s theme was Building an Equitable Society from Community to Companies.
