“Until Justice Just Is”

AWARD OVERVIEW

The 2023 YWCA Champions of Diversity Award will be presented to residents, community leaders, and professionals that have engaged in significant efforts to promote diversity and eliminate racism locally or at a national level. These actions capture the YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and they strengthen the fabric of our community by helping to advance opportunities for all.

Awardees will be publicly recognized and inducted into the YWCA Diversity Achievers Academy during the 25th Annual Day of Commitment to Eliminate Racism and Promote Diversity. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, April 27, at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. In addition to be honored at the Day of Commitment luncheon, the 2023 Awardees will be celebrated online through the YWCA’s social media platforms and e-newsletters. The Awardees’ organizations/employers will also be included in each online highlight.
