Events

Join us on Tuesday, October 16 from 5:30-8:00 PM at the Genesee Grande Hotel at Spirit of American Women, a special yearly event that celebrates the empowerment and accomplishments of women, girls, and families served through YWCA programs such as Girls Inc. at the YWCA, the Women’s Residence Program, and our After-School programs. Registration begins at 5:30 PM.

Spirit of American Women is also a fundraiser that celebrates the power of individual philanthropy. Guests will hear from women who have become empowered to change their lives with support from the YWCA and will discover how their gift makes a tangible difference benefiting women and girls in our community. Guests will also be able to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, live speakers, a silent auction, a cash bar, and networking with peers.

We are honored to have Jennifer Sanders, Morning News Anchor at WSYR-TV News Channel 9 as this year’s keynote speaker!
