2026 Day of Commitment to Eliminate Racism & Promote Diversity

The Day of Commitment to Eliminate Racism & Promote Diversity is dedicated to promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. It brings the community together to address injustices that create barriers to opportunity and equity. Our aim is to educate, facilitate discussion, empower, and inspire action for positive change in Central New York and beyond.

The event will be held on Thursday, May 7, at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. It will include morning workshops and a panel discussion presented by leaders in the CNY community. The day will conclude with a celebratory luncheon in the Persian Terrace where we honored three local Champions of Diversity dedicated to creating a more equitable community in Central New York.

Nominations are open now! Tickets will be available beginning Monday, March 30. Nominate a Champion at the link above, or contact Caitlyn Copfer at ccopfer@ywca-syracuse.org or 315-424-0040.
