Girls’ Summit
Canajoharie
Girls’ Summit is a hands-on career exploration day that introduces students in grades 6th to 10th to non-traditional fields in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (S.T.E.A.M.).
This event will be held at Canajoharie Middle School on Saturday, October 24th and will include a series of workshops, lunch, and a women in business networking session focused on opportunities in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math.
The event registration opens at 11:00 a.m. and the program will close at 3:00pm. Each workshop, lasting approximately 45 minutes, engages students through interactive activities.
The goal of the Girls' Summit is to empower, motivate, educate, and challenge perceptions of girls and women in S.T.E.A.M fields. However, this event is inclusive and open to all individuals, regardless of sex, gender, or gender identity.
